Miami 21 Thoroughfares are characterized by two attributes: character and capacity. They are appropriately assigned by Transect Zones, along with calibrated interdependent elements that include: right-of-ways, movement types, design speeds, number of travel lanes, pavement and sidewalk widths, curb radii and verge types.
